Volunteering is another pivotal part of Tamala’s life, so you can find her dividing her time between being a member of the Aviatra Advisory Board and working with four other organizations: Dress for Success, Alzheimer’s Association, American Heart Association, and The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
In her spare time, Tamala is a big sports enthusiast. She especially favors football, but has a competitive streak formed from a childhood of growing up with three brothers. Tamala also loves reading; even more so when she is able to sit down with a “real” book.
Monica Berghausen has more than 25 years of global corporate management experience in various human resource disciplines. She has served as an HR business partner and strategic consultant to various business groups in highly regulated environments. Her professional experience includes managing policy program development, employee relations, compliance, corporate relocation, workforce planning and recruiting.
Monica recently retired from Fidelity Investments where she was Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining Fidelity, Monica lived in New York City and was an officer at J.P. Morgan where she worked in Human Resources, supporting the Domestic and International Private Banking Divisions.
Monica earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Simmons College in Boston, MA, and then went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. She is currently a member of the Ohio Bar.
In her free time, Monica enjoys spending time with her husband Andy, her son Max, and their beloved pets Coco and Winnie.
An educator, non-profit executive and media/public relations expert, Battinto Batts began his career as a journalist. He worked for news organizations in Virginia and Florida before embarking on a journey in higher education. Battinto is an experienced facilitator and project manager. His work has included clients in government, higher education and small business.
An expert in curriculum development and education assessment, Battinto brings a wealth of knowledge that is vital for implementing data-driven changes within an organization. Battinto’s project management experience is in the non-profit and higher education sectors, where he has worked with diverse stakeholders to envision and execute strategy for process improvement, business development and program delivery.
He has a bachelors degree in mass communications, a masters degree in media management and a doctorate in higher education management.
In his downtime, Battinto enjoys spending time with family, podcasting, and staying active. You can often find him out on the golf course or rooting for his favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Battinto is also passionate about volunteering, and he is a member of the board of directors for Envision Children of Cincinnati and the Society of Professional Journalists Foundation.

Her diverse experience makes her a valuable asset to the HCA team.
Mollie lives in Alexandria, KY, with her husband, Jason, and two sons, Ollie and Harry. She is fascinated with reading, writing, and communication; and in her free time, she enjoys board games, canning pickles, Swedish Fish and an occasional taste of bourbon.
